It’s been a fruitful fall, with NDOW’s wildlife education program giving presentations at Walnut Recreation Center, Rhodes Ranch, Red Rock, Griffith Elementary, and Girl Scouts, and appearing at the World of Girls, Henderson Trails Day, Gold Butte Days, and Nevadaween.
A message from our Aquatic Education program coordinator, Ivy Santee: The Trout in the Classroom teacher workshop will be held Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the NDOW office. PDE credit and equipment provided. Please, only 4th – 6th grade teachers who can commit to raising trout in a classroom aquarium should sign up for this one. Spring Mountain Ranch State Park
The park is located 15 miles West of Las Vegas on State route 159 (Blue Diamond Hwy). Centrally located in between Red Rock NCA and Bonnie Springs Old Nevada
On Saturday, Oct 6th, join the NRA-ILA as we walk for freedom! Join us all day or
various shifts 9am, 11am, or 1pm. Food, and drinks will be provided to volunteers. We will meet face to face with voters. Volunteers will be in pairs walking assigned neighborhoods. It will be fun!
Nevada early voting starts Oct 20th. We need to reach out to many gunowners in Southern Nevada! Last day to register to vote is Oct 6th.
