Stream access is a growing problem in our state. It is difficult to get access in many areas, both lakes and streams. This is your chance to weigh in on this subject. Don't let inaction allow this opportunity get away.
AB 396, a bill to ensure access for recreation on lakes and streams in Nevada, is slated for a hearing in the Assembly Natural Resources Committee on March 28th at 12:30 pm. We need a good turnout of anglers and paddlers to demonstrate to the committee that we need to ensure public access to our waters.
Two things we need from everyone:
1. Forward this information to your contacts and help spread the word about the hearing.
2. Let us know as soon as you can about any issues that you or someone you know has had with access to waters in Nevada.
One more thing.....if you can't make it, you can e-mail the committee to register your support at
